NEMPAC Opera Project and the Boston Festival Orchestra presents a thrilling production of Orfeo’s Italian Baroque opera, Orfeo ed Euridice. In a sneak-peek preview entitled “Lust and Tragedy: Queer Representation in Opera and Greco-Roman Mythology,” library patrons in the North End will meet artists from the production, and enjoy a selection of songs and duets performed live from Gluck’s famous score.
